Every road you drive, painted.

Flow score

Smooth is the score.
Never speed.

What it measures. Flow watches how steady your pace is and how gentle your inputs are, using GPS and the accelerometer. A calm, clean line scores high. Harsh braking and jumpy throttle score low.

What it will never do. Driving faster cannot raise your score. There are no speed or drift leaderboards on public roads, and there never will be. Any top-speed figure is a private stat — never ranked, never shared.

FAQ

Questions,
answered.

Does driving faster give me a higher score?

No — never, by design. On public roads OVERDRIVE only ever scores smoothness and discovery. There are no speed or drift leaderboards, points or rewards, and there never will be.

Do I have to hold my phone?

No. Start the drive, put the phone down, and drive. Everything records itself, and the screen stays awake so you never have to unlock it mid-drive.

Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone by default — drives, discovery, profile and stats. The only thing that leaves your device is a coarse, downsampled set of route points sent to a mapping service to snap your route to roads, plus normal map-tile requests.

Does it drain my battery?

It uses GPS, so it costs more than an idle phone. There's a Power Saver mode that lowers the sample rate for long drives.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. iPhone only for now.

How do I cancel?

Settings → your name → Subscriptions → OVERDRIVE → Cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
